We are told in Genesis that Man was made in the image of God. We are also told that God made us for his own good pleasure, to be loving and kind one to another. The first two human
inhabitants which God created were a man and a woman.
Within this first week of creation there were two institutions established. The Institution of Marriage was made between a man and a woman in which two became one flesh. Note that in the
beginning everything was perfect and there was one accord between God and Man. God also established the Sabbath, a day in which Man could rest from all his work and it was a day in which we
could commune with his Maker and sustainer. This sanctuary in time allows all us to reconcile our differences and become renewed.
It has been the purpose of the Devil to destroy these two institutions which God made because in doing so he can bring about strife and conflict in the family unit. When children are raised
in dysfunctional homes they experience frustration, adultery, jealousy, anger, guilt, resentment, spousal abuse, and may become innocent victims of child abuse, incest, rape, abandonment and
homosexuality. Often times children will blame God. This is unfortunate but we know that God has a perfect plan.
As Christians we know that Christ died for our sins and is our redeemer. Christ is Lord over all that was made and there is none other. He made Spiritual Laws and Health Laws which
were created for us to find and regain joy and peace in our homes. Listen to Steven Wolberg as he interviews Wayne Blakely and Mike Carducci on the meaning of "coming out of innocence" and in
"becoming a man."
